Happy Father's Day 2013

Twas the night before a race and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse

I was laying up in my bed
With 10 million thoughts running through my head

One of the topics that entered my mind
Was of you, Dad, and the year in rewind

Since the last Father's Day
We've shared some great times along the way

A mad scientist birthday for Natia Dea
Taking trips with Phyllis across the country

Science Fair judging at ICS
Spring Break water slides with the best of the best

Running a half-marathon tethered to me
Putting a record in the books for the world to see

Reading books that I recommend
That leave you hanging until the end

Making sure Haleigh walked the stage
Helping her blossom and become of age

Tearing down a pool for really no reason
Running back to back races because it is racing season

Thanks for everything you do...I love you More Every Day
Instilling the knowledge "It's Such a Pretty World Today"

Winding down...

It's been a busy last few weeks, I'm trying to share in pictures. Memorial Day Friday we had Spring Extravaganza for the girls.
That same night my niece graduated from high school back home. Hadn't been to a high school graduation since my own.
It was a nice time time and am so proud of her!
Love being back home and getting to see family and friends, never enough time to see everyone and relax.
Celebrated my birthday on the 31st and my last day of school with my students on the 7th. My daughters still have a few more days left!
I assisted with the organization of the Muskego Pioneer 5K, which meant I didn't run but I convinced my girls to! My dad and some of my runners from school did as well. Zoriana placed 2nd in her age group!  It was a great day!

Almost summer break here, only a few more days....what are your plans for summer? Are you staying sane with end of the year activities?!
