Winter-We're Through!

Old man winter is supposed to be out the door
Sent packing like a dirty whore

However he has decided to stick around
And leave his snow upon the ground

Snow is one thing, and then there's ice
And the wind that cuts so precise

It really makes me start to wonder
If living here is a major blunder

The returned robins look so sad
Like they were tricked or had

I’m running hours on a treadmill
Raising up my electricity bill

We need a break from this weather
A change from cold altogether

Cabin fever is has run its course
Winter- it is time for divorce

Here’s to hoping change will come
And soon we are bitching about the hot, humid sun!
